    Red Tux was born February, 2001.
    
    It was the name we gave the PC-Firewall of my organization's GNU/Linux network.
    After this I have used the name pretty often - mainly as personal nick for
    chat sessions on the IRC or ICQ and along this as e-mail alias.
    I then decided to make this homepage, as with time the Red Tux got his own history.
    A chat pal created his own website, which is currently unavailable, where
    he put the "Take it Tux" picture showing the BSD-daemon taking the cute penguin from behind.
    Thus, these two characters became my parents and I got an own identity from then.
